Marie and I have been very busy since we stepped away from the church. We have been staying with my parents in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas while we are looking for a motorhome to live in full-time. In just over 4 weeks we have logged something around 7000 road miles and a Cuba mission trip.
We went to Houston and on to California's Coachella Valley to visit our kids and grandkids over the holidays.
Then on the way back to Arkansas we got called with an invite to go to Cuba. We diverted and went on to New Orleans to fly out with 2 days notice. In between these events we made a trip to Dallas, to Tulsa, to Bentonville, AR, to Branson, MO, to Okmulgee, OK and to Brandon, MS to look at motorhomes. We have seen a couple that we were interested in but we have not settled on anything yet.
As I write we are in Flowood, MS at the Vineyard helping Beau and Rachel Burnham navigate the accounting and end-of-year activities in the absence of Annell Bowman, Associate Pastor and church bookkeeper/office manager. Annell has been battling Covid pneumonia for 3 weeks and is still hospitalized. (Keep praying for full healing and recovery for Annell)
