One Year In

Marie and I have just passed one year since we began Metron Ministries and did our first event. When we started my biggest fear was, "What if we don't have enough to do and can't stay busy?" Well... that's not been a problem.

This has been an exciting year... far exceeding our expectations. I don't think we've been at home for more than 2 weekends in succession since January. We've traveled just a bit over 100,000 miles (according to Google, and I think it's missed a few). and we have seen many salvations, healings, and deliverances along the way. We've been directly involved in 4 church plants in Africa, have indirectly served scores of missionaries and their partners via our role with Vineyard Missions, and have had the privilege of ministering to dozens of pastors and leaders as we've served in over 20 churches.

We are also pleased to announce that we have just received our final paperwork from the state and from the IRS recognizing us as a 501(c)3 non-profit ministry and can now receive your tax-deductible contributions directly. We will be putting the systems in place to allow that to happen and will transfer the giving platform by the yearend.

On that topic, November 29th is known as GivingTuesday. Following the huge commercial shopping days of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday was imagined as a celebration of generosity promoting yearend contributions to your favorite charities. As you are considering the many worthy missions and ministries we ask that you consider supporting our work next year with a monthly contribution.
